As a Civil Specialist it is also important to support multiple projects in terms of civil design from conceptual to construction design. This is a hands-on position which will require a high attention to details, superior communication skills, and the ability to work within a cross-functional team of professionals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the primary responsibilities?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spearhead the development cycle through the various stages and processes from origination through <em>project<\/em> closeout into Asset Management<\/li>\n<li>Provide the expert knowledge and advice planning the conceptual design of the wind farm and develop the design as necessary for relevant permit application.<\/li>\n<li>Provide quantity surveying by material take-off and cost estimation of civil construction work.<\/li>\n<li>Review and optimize 3rd party\u2019s civil design and develop the details according to company\u2019s standard and\/or WTG supplier\u2019s requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Assess the civil constructability of potential greenfield site based on site survey<\/li>\n<li>Manage external consultants by defining the scope of work and reviewing the outputs in line with the agreed schedule and budget<\/li>\n<li>Be the interface in between internal experts and external consultants<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple project development efforts simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the processes of the development like permitting site investigations and stakeholder management<\/li>\n<li>Identify key milestones and deadlines and keep track on the overall progress<\/li>\n<li>Follow up onchanges in law, regulation, governmental policy and assess the opportunities and risks.<\/li>\n<li>Risk assessment and reporting in view of solution finding<\/li>\n<li>Propose the relevant development budget and keep track during the development<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the commercial planning and evaluation of the project through providing country specific insights for construction and operation budget assumptions<\/li>\n<li>Conduct due diligence on potential project sites, evaluate the project suitability and participate in due diligence review and analysis of various project materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>of soil parameters (to be in charge of understanding and comment on a soil investigation\/soil parameters)<\/li>\n<li>in concrete technology (to comment and work on foundation construction)<\/li>\n<li>road construction (to prepare preliminary design and or comment on the designs given)<\/li>\n<li>of quantity surveying<\/li>\n<li>of the site construction management and the project coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be passionate about the renewable energy business<\/li>\n<li>5+ years related experience in civil design\/engineering of renewable energy project or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to solve problems and develop value-added solutions quickly and accurately<\/li>\n<li>Track-record of leading teams to support energy or other infrastructure projects<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding organizational and people skills<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of engineering and renewable energy systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborative and engaging team member who partners well with others and leads by example<\/li>\n<li>Strong team orientation and demonstrated stakeholder management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and presentation skills in Korean and in English<\/li>\n<li>Builds trust by demonstrating high ethical standards and personal integrity<\/li>\n<li>Analytical problem solver who views obstacles as challenges<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, self-starter who can work independently when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of project finance concepts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"template":"","class_list":["post-902","karriere","type-karriere","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.wpd-group.kr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/karriere\/902","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.wpd-group.kr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/karriere"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.wpd-group.kr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/karriere"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.wpd-group.kr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.wpd-group.kr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=902"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
