Land Specialist – Gyeongbuk/Gangwon/Jeonnam Province 토지 임대/수용 업무 담당-경북/강원/전남 지역 (각 지역별 채용 – 대리/과장, 부동산 관련 경력자)

The Land Specialist based in Local Province will play a key role in advancing our regional onshore wind project developments. Working closely with Seoul-based project managers, the Land Specialist will proactively identify landowners and secure critical land plots through the negotiation of lease and purchase agreements.

A core responsibility of the role is building and maintaining long-term relationships with landowners, local real estate agencies, and other key stakeholders. The Land Specialist will actively coordinate information flow across these groups, ensuring transparency, alignment, and steady project progress.

While a solid understanding of land agreements and the ability to structure and review contracts in compliance with local regulations is required, the primary emphasis of the role is on driving land access through a proactive, field-oriented approach and fostering strong local partnerships.

This position requires substantial amount of travelling time to the cities/counties within the province and to the other provincial areas from time to time.

Dedicate in land securing from the early stage of project development

• Secure the land for onshore wind project development including:
  • Structure the project-wise strategy to efficiently secure the lands at the early stage of project development
  • Identify and visit the landowners and introduce the company and the project
  • Initiate the discussion and present the contracting scheme to the landowners
  • Communicate and negotiate the lease/purchase condition with respective landowners complying to corporate guideline and approval process.
  • Oversee the processes of the development permitting and investigate the requirements related to land security.
  • Catch up the changes in law, regulation, governmental policy related to land acquisition and assess the opportunities and risks.
  • Coordinate relevant external consultants and build up the most reasonable and favorable contractual terms and condition.

• Support the project development managers including:
  • Propose and report the relevant DEVEX budget for land acquisition.
  • Contribute to the commercial planning and evaluation of the project through providing financial case study.
  • Be the interface in between internal project development managers and external consultants and/or landowners.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams and colleagues to support the entire project development process.

Support of green field site search and project acquisitions

• Support reviewing the land acquisition status for new project opportunities to further increase wpd’s project pipeline.
• Support due diligence reviews on potential project acquisition to evaluate the legality and economic feasibility.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be passionate about the renewable energy business
• 5+ years related experience in real estate industry or land acquisition for project development
• High ethical standards and personal integrity
• Outstanding organizational and people skills
• Strong team orientation and demonstrated stakeholder management skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills in Korean and preferably in English
• Analytical problem solver who views obstacles as challenges
• Self-motivated, self-starter who can work independently when necessary
• Understanding of project development and management concepts
